    Product Introduction

    Photobiomodulation (PBM) describes the use of red or near-infrared light to stimulate, heal, regenerate, and protect tissue that has either been injured, is degenerating, or else is at risk of dying. One of the organ systems of the human body that is most necessary to life, and whose optimum functioning is most worried about by humankind in general, is the brain.

    The brain suffers from many different disorders that can be classified into three broad groupings: traumatic events (stroke, traumatic brain injury, and global ischemia), degenerative diseases (dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's), and psychiatric disorders (depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder). There is some evidence that all these seemingly diverse conditions can be beneficially affected by applying light to the head. There is even the possibility that PBM could be used for cognitive enhancement in normal healthy people.

    810nm near-infrared light can penetrate the scalp and skull. Transcranial leds from the near infrared spectrum have been shown to provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.Heat shock proteins can also be added to prevent protein misfolding and unwanted synthesis;Has the potential to increase neuron regeneration and synaptic regeneration.

    Working Principle

    Cytochrome C oxidase (CCO, also known as complex IV) is a specific structure in mitochondria that ACTS as a photon receptor and thus plays the PBM effect.PBM prevents respiratory inhibition (and correspondingly reduces energy storage) in stress cells by isolating nitric oxide (NO) and reversing the shift of oxygen in cytochrome C oxidase.This triggers transcription factors that alter gene expression levels.The binding of nitric oxide (NO) to copper (or heme) centers in the mitochondrial cytochrome C oxidase (CCO) inhibits cell respiration.But cytochrome C oxidase, which absorbs red or near-infrared (NIR) light, dissociates nitric oxide, restoring oxygen, increasing cellular respiration, and forming adenosine triphosphate (ATP).This triggers a cascade of intracellular reactions involving nitric oxide, reactive oxygen species (ROS), and cyclic adenosine phosphate (cAMP) that produce beneficial effects of PBM.

    1.You said your helmet is made up of 256pcs leds, but we can only see 4 pcs led light on ? what is the problem ?

    Yes,We use 256pcs 810nm near infrared light for therapy. There are 4 pcs red led, it is just for light indicator to show you the

    device is working. Sometimes the near infrared is hardly to be seen from eyes, so the red light is just for instruction, not for

    therapy function. If you want to see the Infrared led light, you can put it on dark environment or view by your mobile phone

    camera.

    2.The variation on intensity for each of the 2 Channels (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), what kind of variation is it? Since it is infrared light, if the intensity of the light changes than it will no longer be in nanometers; so, is it a matter of number of online leds that are transmitting light in a specific moment? I mean, if I’m using 25% intensity than only 25% of the leds are trasmitting light, for example?

    yes we have two channel on the control box, and power control from 25% to 100%. the full power of 810nm LED light is 160mw, maximum current is 0.8mA, and we have control the power of the LED light to make sure that there is no variation of the the light wavelength. and the maximum power of the LED on the helmet now is 50MW, and we control the power by control the current . only when the temperature of the LED light is too higher, then the wavelength will vary , and it means when the current over 80MA, the

    wavelength of LED will change. and now the maximum current on the helmet for one LED is about 30MA. so don’t worry about that the power varies the nonameter changes .

    3.We were wondering why the Time setting was set on maximum 24 minutes, is there any scientific research you based your decision on or did you found out that this is the overall time the device may support? Do you have evidence of what the best timing is?

    We are starting very cautiously with 6 minutes and than 12 minutes but we are doing this without any advice o bases, so please tell us if you have some more evidence about it.

    we asked professor Gerhard tested our helmet with a NIR machine, and I hope you have received the report from him already. he told us that after 20 minutes continuous using the helmet, it is very hot. that is why we set the Maximum time at 24 minutes. and I have been to germany this June, there I met with Claudio , Hans both of them from Brasil, and they use a ECG to get the brain waves and show the difference after use it about 10 to 12 minutes, and found that the effect is best, and I also take this to a GERMANY Company who has a meter to test the NADH inside our tissue when you take a therapy . we found that after take 12 minutes, you will found that the NADH go down. and over 12 minutes the changes is not clear. because after 12 minutes, the temperature inside the helmet increased. so after we are back from Germany we have modified our mould, and put some gaps on the crystal part of the helmet , when people switch on power, the temperature won’t over 40 degrees.

    4. Is the helmet electrically shielded?We need to know if you have a safety certification or something like that, in order to be sure that the persons undergoing this procedure will never ever experience electrical shocks or something similar.

    Yes, the whole helmet are electrically shielded, as all are ABS material. we get the CE certificate for this helmet already, I will give it to you, there is no power directly connect with our body, and the input voltage is 5V, it is lower voltage, you will found the testing report and CE safety certificate in the attachment.

    5.We are very concerned about the hygieyesne of the helmet. Since the helmet will be worn by different people, one after the other, we were wondering if it would be possibile to put on the subject’s head some sort of paper cap. Do you think the light will pass through this kind of material or do you perhaps know some specific material that permits the light to be spread without obstacles?

    This is a good question, you can use alcohol cotton to clean the crystal part, it is very safe. because any of paper will be a obstacles for the light. the best one is silicon, but to make a silicon cap is expensive, and if you only use once, then throw it away.

    6.How often does a person use the helmet?

    For long-term chronic diseases, such as degenerative diseases, the recommended course of treatment is 3-6 months.

    For short-term symptoms, such as concussion, migraine, depression, etc., the recommended course of treatment is 1-3 months.

    According to the severity of the patient’s symptoms, use 4-6 times a week, 1-2 times a day. At the beginning of the treatment, it

    is recommended to give the patient a process of adaptation. About the power intensity and time, you can start from 25% , 12 minutes. Gradually increase the power intensity and time step by step. After a adapation period, you can use 75-100% intensity for 24-30 minutes.
